Katherine Bolt
Katherine Bolt founded Bolt Telecom Consulting in 1998 to help
telecom companies establish their operational process definitions,
complete their process development, and create process documentation. She is an experienced
business analyst and process consultant with 18 years in the
telecommunications and technology industries. Her approach
is to help clients use processes and procedures to make operations
easier for their employees and customers, as well as lowering
costs. Ms. Bolt was instrumental in lowering call times and
costs by 25% for one of her clients, through a hands-on approach.
She sat one-on-one with dozens of customer service and sales
representatives. From here, she identified and measured call
components and helped management determine where efficiencies
could be gained without sacrificing call quality or compliance
requirements. Katherine has also served as a project manager for
a back-office outsourcing effort, identifying administrative tasks
that were the best candidates for the move, using cost and
efficiency measurements as guidelines, while taking company
culture and employee and customer concerns into account. Ms.
Bolt has provided project leadership and analysis for various
billing implementations, working at all stages from requirements
to product selection to configuration and implementation.
Katherine has worked in call center environments as a customer
service representatives. as a supervisor, and as a manager.
She is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
