Customer Centricity President to
Participate in Annual CROP WALK for Hunger
Program designed to raise money for
hunger-fighting programs locally and in over 80 countries globally
Hudson, New Hampshire, October 9, 2006: Customer
Centricity, Inc. announced that its president and founder, Craig
Bailey, will be participating in the 37th Annual CROP WALK
sponsored by the Church World Service. Each year, the CROP
WALK brings groups from over 2,000 communities together to raise
money and awareness to fight hunger in
over 80 countries through individual fund-raising events.
This year's local event will be held in Nashua, New Hampshire on
Sunday October 22, 2006. The CROP WALK program helps provide
tools of hope that empower people to meet their own needs. Each local CROP WALK
event can also choose to return a portion of the proceeds to local hunger-fighting programs.
"I believe that it is important that we all find ways of giving
back to our communities," said Bailey. "This is the
fourth consecutive year I have participated. It is such a
great program. The CROP WALK allows me to make a personal
contribution -- not only by giving, but by meeting other similarly
committed people working to fight hunger on the walk itself."
Last year's CROP WALK raised over $16 million globally to
support the hunger-fighting work of the Church World Service, both
locally and around the world. Those resources were used to
provide wells, seeds, tools, and training to African farmers --
most of whom are women. In addition, the funds provided
emergency medical supplies for hurricane victims in the Gulf
States in the U.S., tents and blankets for Pakistani families
devastated by an earthquake, and vocational training for Latin
American street children.
